HOLIDAY BOOKING

1- All communications by the Company in relation to your holiday will be sent to the email address stated on the booking form or as given by the client.
2- All bookings must be made through an authorised representative of the Company. At the time of booking, the Company booking form must be completed and submitted together with an advance deposit.
3- Receipt of the deposit and booking form by the Company does neither guarantee nor imply confirmation of the booking. No booking shall be confirmed until the Company issues a written notice. The Company reserves the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason and shall in that event return any deposit received.
4- Holiday Booking for Countries other than India– Your holiday must be paid in full at least 10 days before the departure date. If payment is not received by the due date, the Company reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit. The person who signs the booking form guarantees payment of the total amount shown on the booking form in accordance with these conditions. It is the responsibility of the signatory to ensure the Company receives payment in full by the due date. No reminders will be sent.
5- Holiday Booking for India– Your holiday must be paid in full at the time of arrival in India. If payment is not received upon arrival, the Company reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit. The person who signs the booking form guarantees payment of the total amount shown on the booking form in accordance with these conditions. It is the responsibility of the signatory to ensure the Company receives payment in full [leaving no balance amount]. No reminders will be sent.
6- If you book within 15 days of your departure date payment must be made in full at the time of booking.
7- The Company will provide the service as set out and confirmed in writing.

HOLIDAY DEPOSIT

INDIA TRIP – An advance deposit of 60% of the package cost should be made to hold the booking on confirmed basis and the balance 40% to be paid in cash upon arrival in India.
OTHER ASIAN COUNTRIES TRIP – An advance deposit of 60% of the package cost should be made to hold the booking on confirmed basis and the balance amount of 40% to be paid before your tour commencement.

PAYMENT MODE

Payment can be made to Eastbound Travelscape DMC through electronic wire transfer or cash. All cash payment will be accepted in Indian Rupees & USD currency only. All the overseas bank transaction charges during the wire transfer needs to be borne by the customer. For booking which are made within 10 working days of tour departure, the full amount will become immediately payable. Failure to pay the balance within the specified period will result in the cancellation of the booking, and in payment of a cancellation fee as detailed below.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel your Holiday — If you or any member of your party wishes to cancel your holiday, you must notify us in writing, in any case the date of cancellation will be at the date on which notice is received in the Tours Department of Eastbound Travelscape DMC. The person who signed the booking form must also sign the letter of cancellation. We do understand that at times we get caught by unforeseen & unavoidable circumstances in life & unfortunately at times people have to cancel their holiday but they also have to understand that cancellations are expensive for us as well since it involves our precious time & expertise, communication cost, time & admin cost therefore, in the event of cancellation of holiday we must be notified of the same in written & below cancellation charges will apply in the following way :

If you change your booking
If, after your confirmation invoice has been issued, you wish to change your travel arrangement in any way, for your chosen departure date or accommodation, we will do utmost to make these changes, but it may not always be possible.
If ET DMC cancels your holiday- A full refund of all deposits and/or payments will be given. Airlines, railways, tour operators and other suppliers have their own contracts covering cancellation penalties and other terms and conditions. You may be bound by those contracts regardless of whether you receive notice of their terms.
Written cancellations will be accepted on all working days except Sunday or ay major holiday, any cancellation or Sunday’s/holiday’s will be considered from next working day.

OUR LIABILITIES & LIMITATIONS

1- Please note after the finalization of the holiday package, if there are any hike in monuments entry fee, fuel charges, hotel taxes, train tickets,, guide charges etc by the government of the country the same would be charged as extra. The company does not own or control hotels, coach, trains, car, government monuments or other facilities mentioned in the tour. As an operator of the package tour therefore, we cannot be held liable.
2- Where there has been no fault on the part of the company, supplier or agents.
3- Where the failures in performance of the contract are attributable to the customer.
4- Where the failures are attributable to a third party not connected with the provision of the holiday and are unforeseeable or unavoidable.
5- Where the failures are due to unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond your control.
6- Where the failures are due to an event which you or your supplier even with all due care could not foresee or foretell.
7- We do take all reasonable steps in ensuring that the company maintains standards and provide a service that is acceptable to the customers. The information within this website has been compiled with all reasonable care and is correct to the best knowledge of the company and is published in good faith.
8- Our rates are based on the prevailing contracted rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines etc. Hotels and Airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and check out time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary.
9- We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.
10- We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection wit h any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.
11- We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggages & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.
12- We will not be responsible for any costs arising out of unforeseen circumstances like landslides, road blocks, bad weather, etc during the holiday.
13- The Company shall, in no circumstances whatsoever be liable to the client or any person traveling with him or her for: Any death, personal injury, sickness accidents, loss delay, discomfort, increased expenses, consequential loss and / or damage or theft howsoever caused;
14- Any act, omission, default of any independent contractor or other person or by any servant or agents employed by them who may be engaged or concerned in the provision of accommodation, refreshment, carriage facility or service for the client or for any person traveling with him howsoever caused. Eastbound Travelscape DMC is unable to take liability for commercial arrangements out of our control such as natural disasters, industrial disputes, reason of threat or war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activities, technical problems to the transport, extreme weather conditions, closure of the airports and sea ports and similar event out of our control, or are due to unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond your control.
15- The Company is under no obligation to furnish a breakdown of the costs involved in a holiday.
16- The Company regret that no refund will be made on unused tickets where travel, sporting event or other types of ticket, unless a refund can be obtained from the carrier or provider.

COMPLAINTS

We do our best to give customers traveling on any of our holidays, an enjoyable and stress free holiday but occasionally plans go wrong. Should you have any complaint, please tell your ET DMC holiday Manager at the time who will do everything possible to resolve the matter immediately. If the situation is not resolved to your satisfaction, then you must notify the company within 28 days of the tour ending in writing. If you do not write to us within this time, this will affect the investigation and outcome of the complaint. Any disputes between clients and ET DMC shall be governed by Jurisdiction of New Delhi Courts.

PASSPORT & VISA

Travelling to any Asian country, one needs a six months’ valid passport and a valid Visa. And processing of Passport and Visa are not included in the tour cost.

HEALTH

Any person who has a contagious disease is forbidden to travel, any person found during the tour with such a disease will be asked to leave the tour and will have to make their own arrangements to return home.
Should any member of your party suffer illness, injury or death through misadventure arising out of an activity, which does not form part of the holiday the Company has arranged for you the Company cannot accept liability. The Company will offer general assistance where appropriate.

EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK OUT

Please note that standard check-in time is 12 noon to 2 Pm (IST) & Checkout time is 10 am to 12 noon (IST  in all good hotels however it may vary & depends on hotel’s sole discretion. Therefore, cost of Early check-in or Late check-out is not included in the tour cost. We can always make a request for early check-in or Late checkout if required but we do not guarantee that, that entirely depends upon the policy of the hotel, time of the year and availability of the room.

EXTRA USES OF OUR VEHICLE

Please note that cost of the vehicle (car / coaches with the driver) is not included in the tour cost like :- Usage of vehicle like after transfer or after sightseeing until or unless it is mentioned in the itinerary.

RIGHTS TO AMEND THE ITINERARY IF REQUIRED

Tour once commenced will strictly go as per the itinerary finalized. In case of events and circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to change all or parts of the contents of the itinerary for safety and well being of our esteemed customers.

SURCHARGES

The price of your travel arrangement are subject to surcharges in case of sudden hike in fuel prices, schedule airfare and any taxes levied by the government. Even in this case, we will try to absorb an amount of 2%, amount exceeding over 2% will be surcharged.

DISCLAIMER

The Company has made all reasonable efforts to check the accuracy of the information contained in our website. The Company cannot however accept any responsibility for any errors or omissions that may appear in this site.

DATA PROTECTION ACT

It may be necessary for the Company to ask you for certain personal information. Examples of this would be dietary requirements, disability/medical or religious information etc. This information will be kept confidential by the Company and is available to you to inspect during the Company’s normal working hours. It will be passed to the suppliers, if it is necessary for them to know this information in order to fulfill the Company’s contract to you.
